Well if you don't like it anymore maybe you should take a break but remember to do it for you not for others. Music is supposed to be fun and silly. If you mess up it's not a big deal. I had a teacher make me feel really bad about not playing well and I've never laid a hand on a sax again. Don't let others control your happiness if that is the case. Just saying (:
That happens sometimes with me when I'm feeling pressure about reading. I stop for a while and it's great then I go back to it and love it all over again. I hope you get that feeling back (:

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I don't know. I just feel terrible when I play it, and I hate to spread such unhappiness to others.
This is a temporary but probably permanent decision. I just can't bring myself to do it anymore.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I am taking a break from playing, but tomorrow is the first day of school, and I have a music theory class.
ReplyDeleteI taking a break. Surprisingly, I feel good quitting, which is kind of awkward and sad.
